TIME FOR CLASS

What do I need to bring?

Our studio is fully equipped with luxury props and mats which are availble to use during every class or 1-1 session, so all you need to bring is yourself and some positive energy! Please also note we only have a water filling station, so bring your own bottle!

What do I need to wear?

We recommend wearing flexible and comfortable clothing, both activewear and loungewear will work great.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your session so we can all  get comfortable and set up to make the most of the beautiful class we have prepared for you. Late arrivals, even just a couple of minutes, will not be able to gain access to the studio as we are a boutique with no receptionist, and you will lose your credits and sessions. We know London travelling can be chaotic so please factor your journey time into your bookings.

BOOKINGS

How do I book a class?

All you need to do is head to our timetable and click book for the class you would like to join. At checkout you can select a single session pass or sign up to one of our memberships.

How do I book a private session?

For all private bookings, both 1-1 and small groups, please click here . If you have questions or cannot find a time that works for you please contact us via email or whatsapp and we will be happy to arrange for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel all our in-studio classes up to 12 hours before the start of the session completely free of charge.  You can cancel all events and experiences up to 48 hours before the start of the session completely free of charge. You can cancel all in-studio private appointments up to 24 hours before the start of the session completely free of charge. After these deadlines you will lose the session. Please book mindfully. If you join a class waitlist and are added into a class 3 hours or more prior to the start time, you will be responsible  for that booking even if the class is missed. Please remove yourself from waitlists if you can no longer attend the session to avoid charges. If you are late on arrival, you will not be able to gain access to the studio and will lose your session. In the case of a no-show to your class you will be charged an additional fee. As our classes are so small and spaces are so precious, we simply cannot make up the numbers and so must operate a strict cancellation policy and deadline for all circumstances.

For retreats and off-site events, please refer to the individual cancellation and refund policies on the booking information page.

FOR BEGINNERS

Is yoga for me?

If you want to feel amazing inside and out, if you want to see the positives in difficult situations, find happiness in the small things. feel gratitude and abundance daily, if you want to be compassionate towards yourself, others, and the world, if you want to find your highest self… then YES yoga is most definitely for you!

How flexible do I need to be?

Yoga is not about flexibility, it’s not about doing the splits or standing on your head. It’s about transformation of your inner being. So do you need to be flexbile? No, will you become more flexible, strong, and healthier… most definitely, but in no way do you need this to begin. There’s a saying, “If you can breathe, you can do yoga” and we are big believers in this!

Will I be the only beginner?

Our classes are aimed at all levels, meaning the teacher will teach the most basic version of a pose and show you many ways to adjust it to make it the most accessible. We also offer dedicated beginner classes called Āsana Lab – Yoga for Beginners which teaches all the building blocks of yoga to have you feeling comfortabe in class in no time!

PRĀNĀYĀMA &
MEDITATION

What is prānāyāma?

Prānāyāma means breathwork. It is the various breathing exercises we use to control our prāna (life-force energy). We use a variety of these such as 1:1 breathing, 3 part breathing, ujjāyī, kapālabhāti, nādī shodhana, to list some examples.

Do we meditate in the yoga classes?

The fundamental reason for āsana practice (practicing the poses) is to calm the mind and body making it easier for the yogi to meditate. We follow this traditional approach to yoga and so end every practice with prānāyāma and meditation.

Do I need to know how to meditate?

In both our yoga classes and meditation circles the yoga teacher will always instruct and guide your breathing exercises and meditations meaning you don’t need to know anything before joinging in… just come with an open mind and a smile!
